NDIS Community Participation
Connect with people, places and activities you love.
About this service
With assistance from the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Ruhil Care Community Participation Services can support you in living life to the fullest, whether you or a loved one has a disability. Depending on the kind and severity of your condition, engagement in the community can be difficult — yet getting out, meeting and connecting with others can significantly impact your physical and mental health. Community involvement is more than mingling and socialising; it can simply mean sharing spaces with others, whether in a park, a café or a theatre. We help make that possible.
Every plan is shaped around your goals, preferences and routines. Our team works closely with you, your family and your circle of support to make sure the service feels right from day one — and stays that way.

Common questions
What is NDIS Community Participation?+
It is NDIS-funded support that helps you take part in social, recreational and community activities of your choice.
How can community participation help someone with a disability?+
Getting out, meeting and connecting with other community members can significantly impact physical and mental health — and it doesn't have to mean socialising, sometimes simply sharing a space is enough.
Can I choose the activities?+
Yes — you choose. We plan around your interests, goals and energy levels.
Is transport included?+
Door-to-door support is included. Vehicle running costs may be charged separately in line with the NDIS Price Guide.
Can I have the same support worker each time?+
Wherever possible, yes. Consistency and trust matter, so we match you with a regular worker plus a backup you also know.
Are group activities available?+
Yes. We run small-group outings and workshops in addition to 1:1 support.
